Here’s a way to brighten (and safen!) up your morning commute. Lost at E Minor has turned us on to Juliana Santacruz Herrera’s irreverent street “interventions,” a lovely combination of a few of our favorite things – bright colors, yarn art and street art. The Parisian artist fills the cracks and potholes in her city’s streets with colorful yarn, making the morning commute just a little bit brighter – and a little bit safer for that matter. You can’t twist your ankle in a soft pothole. Click through for some of our favorite shots of her installations, and see even more at the artist’s Flickr.
