Here at Flavorpill, we love a good tattoo. And while we’re all for body art that expresses your individuality, especially in a world that’s seen so many identical butterfly tramp stamps, we think one woman in the Netherlands may have gone too far. In the (mercifully brief) video after the jump, you can watch her get full-color images of 152 Facebook friends permanently printed on her arm. Kudos to the tattoo artist, but we can’t imagine carrying photos of that many people — some of whom we may eventually end up hating — around with us for the rest of our lives. Isn’t their fleeting nature the whole point of Facebook photos, anyway?
Let us know whether you love, hate, or feel oddly ambivalent about the Facebook tattoo in the comments. [via The Hairpin]

How does one “unfriend” a tattoo?
What I want to know is if she gave those people fair warning to pick out their very best profile pic. Ha!
The quality of the tattoo and the layout look good, but wow. I hope she cleared it with those friends. I would be really upset if a casual friend on facebook put my face on their body. Eek

That’s some crazy shiat!
Oh God-is she out of her mind?? The actual ink work is lovely-but Facebook friends? That’s just sad.
Not any dumber than any other “sleeve tats” I’ve seen.
She aint Wrapped to tight upstairs at all..!!
[...] This Dutch woman loves her Facebook friends so much that she decided to get color photos of all 152 of them tattooed on her arm. What an innovative idea! Now she will have her entire social network with her wherever she goes. But on the other hand, one of them may unfriend her. Or change their profile photo. Or get old. Or decide Facebook is stupid. What happens then? [Flavorwire] [...]

Sorry to break it to you, but this is a hoax designed to promote the tattoist’s work. This will wash off in a couple of days.

[...] Oh my. While we usually strongly support rabid pop culture fandom around here, news of a blob of dried glue that kind of looks like Homer Simpson going up for auction on eBay — and that the bidding for said item is as high as £151K as of this writing — is just more than we can take. Come on people! We sincerely hope that this is some kind of hoax, a la the girl who had all of her Facebook friends tattooed on her arm. [...]
