I’m going to have to re-prioritize my Christmas list!! These are awesome! JCO and Oscar Wilde are my favorites!!
OMG
This is exactly the sort of thing that happens – when you have just been made redundant.
It’s about one up, from collecting cats.
Oh, please, please Santa, let me have a Flannery doll! I have been so very, very good!!!!!!
Santa, really, would it be asking too much for a Dottie Parker and K.V., Jr. doll to keep Flannery company? They would have liked each other, I’m sure. We can have tea parties. And we definitely won’t invite Sylvia P. Not that we don’t like her poetry, but it’s just that it makes us want to put our heads in the oven–and that’s not the spirit of Christmas, right Santa?
Fabulous. Love Kurt and Oscar Wilde especially! (What is that hanging off the side of JRR Tolkien?)
Where do I order my Kurt Vonnegut doll? There’s about 25 serious omissions here. Where are The Beats? Bukowski would make an excellent doll. Mailer? Kerouac? Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what sorry looking things
Love, love, love this.
Equally inane comment about wanting a doll that’s obviously a tribute and not meant for a high-volume sale due to its means of production. Additional witty statement on wanting some writers but not another given the latter’s demise or lifestyle choice. Throw in mundane and brief derision of person who would create such.
The Parker doll is hysterical! The expression on her face is perfect!
