Gorgeous Photographs of London Reflected in Puddles

London is not only renowned as a center of culture and art, but also as a center of bad weather — rain, to be exact. But photographer Gavin Hammond, whose work we first noticed over at My Modern Met, uses his home city’s notorious flaw to highlight its beauty, shooting landmarks, foliage, and passerby in London’s ubiquitous puddles. We love the quality of light and image Hammond achieves here, the way he creates something dreamlike from something mundane (and often rather depressing). Click through to see some of our favorites from his extensive series, which he just completed last week, and then head over to his website for the rest of his rainy London shots and much more.
