This year marks the tenth anniversary of Joss Whedon’s brilliant-but-canceled space western series Firefly, and as we’re sure the show’s cultish fans realize, the creator and cast plan to celebrate by hosting a reunion panel Friday at Comic-Con. (If, like us, your first question upon hearing this news was whether recurring cast member Christina Hendricks will be participating, allow us to disappoint you: she won’t.) Thankfully for those of us who can’t make it to San Diego this week, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Science Channel will air a one-hour special combining footage from the panel with a behind-the-scenes roundtable interview with the participants. Titled Browncoats Unite, it’s slated to headline a daylong Firefly marathon November 11th.
