What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we got a peek at the British Museum’s new Shakespeare exhibition. We discovered what our favorite books say about us. We read the best Full House article on the Internet this week. We saw librarian tattoos that weren’t terrible. We learned about Portland’s teacher training, helping educators understand their own “white privilege.” We loved watching Tavi Gevinson and Jimmy Fallon making bitch faces at each other. We listened to a Beastie Boys/Paul’s Boutique tribute. We saw a clip from She Has a Name, a play about human trafficking. We couldn’t get enough of this drummer who totally stole the show. We saw bats like we’ve never seen them before — and then we got really excited for Halloween. We spotted an art installation made from 497 VHS tapes. And finally, we found out what F. Scott Fitzgerald was doing at the Alexander Wang Spring 2013 Show. “I suppose the latest thing is to sit back and let Mr. Nobody from Nowhere sit in front of you at the Wang show,” he writes.
