Michael Ian Black Knows Things You Don’t Need to Do in Life

4

At around 11 a.m., Best Week Ever contributor and Stella star Michael Ian Black, asked the twittersphrere what are the things they don’t need to do before the end of their lives. Called the Fuck it List, Michael Ian Black’s first additions to the list include climbing mountains, learning about birds, and liking Mozart. Other people noted a lack of interest in having kids, cats and some, sleeping schedules, our favorite is @tijir, who wisely prefers not to cut off his left leg for a peg leg.

What’s something you’re looking to not do?

UPDATE: Apparently, due to the Fuck it List’s jumping to the top of the Twitter Trends list, Tweetie 1.3 was rejected by Apple. (CNET)

UPDATE 2: Michael Ian Black killed @fuckitlist. It’s now #fuckitlist.

Exclusive: The Big Bang Theory Drinking Game

4

2

In case you haven’t seen it before, The Big Bang Theory is a CBS show that comes on Monday nights. Getting geekiness down to a science (Seriously, the writers must be real dorks; in a recent episode they referenced Age of Conan when World of Warcraft would have been the obvious choice), the show revolves around two male geniuses, Sheldon and Leonard, and their not so genius neighbor, Penny (Kaley Cuoco). Whether they’re nerding out with Rock Band or Star Trek/Star Wars battles, they’re always learning the social lessons they missed in their academic childhoods.

In order to get the ball rolling on you watching this show, after the jump we’ve prepared a handy drinking game for easy access.

Flavorwire Required Viewing: Eastbound & Down

4

Last night we met Kenny Powers of HBO’s latest comedy series Eastbound & Down, played by scene-stealer Danny McBride of Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder fame. [Editor's note: We love him the most in the 2003 indie, All The Real Girls, and we'd argue that he's the only thing that makes Pineapple Express bearable.] Kenny is a man with a dream. At age 9, he knew he was going to be a Major Leaguer. With a foulmouthed catchphrase (“You’re F**king Out“), he was set for a life as baseball’s worst hero.

Everything You Need to Know About Next Fall’s New TV in 150 Words

5

A list of the TV pilots ordered for fall arrived this week. Amidst the token lawyer shows (David Kelley delivers Legally Mad), crime shows (NCIS: LL Cool J), and spinoffs (Gossip Girl is colonizing with Lily), there’s some promise. Loosely based off the film, Eastwick is a “supernatural tale” of three witches in a small town. True Blood‘s doing well with vampires, let’s try witches. From the creators of My So-Called Life comes A Marriage, the “anatomy of a marriage.” Without a title yet, Mitch Hurwitz of Arrested Development deploys a “dysfunctional family comedy” starring Jason Biggs. Boldly Going Nowhere chronicles the daily life of a spaceship crew, from the people who brought the always funny It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Sadly, making their debut and return, respectively, are Ab Fab, British classic, and Melrose Place, American garbage. Let’s just hope that the Untitled Foxworthy Project becomes the Unproduced Foxworthy Project.
