Today we laughed at this piece about a throat clearer in the Onion. We felt intimidated by this 14-year-old guitar hero. We decided that an opera about Charles Darwin penned by the Knife was possibly the coolest/strangest thing ever. We retraced John Updike’s steps on a ’50s walk through the city. We refused to believe that M.I.A. is going to give birth on stage. We tried to determine how Obama’s influence would factor into our upcoming office Oscar pool. We felt bad for the 31 guys who were tricked into sending this dude nudie pics of themselves on Facebook. We streamed some intense new Bat for Lashes. And finally, we said goodbye to all the TV shows that will be leaving New York. You will be missed Chace Crawford.
