According to our photographer friend Mike Newman, who was brave enough to check out last night’s Punk Rock Pillow Fight at Santos Party House, the highlight of the evening was the Icelandic all-female-but-the-drummer band Vicky that played at intermission: “They were excellent, kinda moody shoegazey ’80s Cure-type rock, but with a very fun attitude, and rocked quite hard. A pleasant surprise for the night.” But we both know that band’s not what you came here for.
