French illustrator Stéphane Massa-Bidal (whose websites as vintage book covers we previously featured) recently created a new series of playful designs called Figures that takes the idea of wordplay to a whole new level. “Sometimes I make an absurd graphic, or sometimes an idea just comes into my head, and sometimes I make an activist work,” he explains in an artist statement. “Graphics are a weapon to change ideas.” Translation: Lady Gaga?
