We’ve voiced our opinions on trailers for both blogs and music videos in the past (they’re kind of silly), but thanks to lovely illustration work by Marcel Dzama, we’ll forgive Arcade Fire for the animated teaser clip for their new album after the jump. And we’ll also allow that when your CD release party is taking place at Madison Square Garden, there should probably be a little pomp and circumstance involved. Maybe we’re entering a new age where album trailers will become as ubiquitous as book trailers? On a related side note: Have you been streaming The Suburbs all day, too? If so, what do you think?
