Award-winning photographer Thomas Michael Alleman knows how to pick his moments. Alleman was born in Detroit and graduated with a degree in English Literature from Michigan State University, but has made a career out of capturing people in mundane situations that look striking on film. The following photographs were taken in Southern California and are a part of his series entitled “Social Studies.”
