In case you don’t remember from the B.O. times, Nate Silver is that annoying guy who predicts political things using his fancy statistical software and nerdy number-sense. New York Magazine has asked him to predict this Sunday’s Academy Award winners in all six of the major categories, and while most of his selections are rather obvious, we have an issue with the one big outlier — Taraji P. Henson for Best Supporting Actress.
Maybe he should have used the DaColbert Code and not the maths to come up with that one; Colbert picked our personal favorite, Penelope Cruz (who Silver gives a 24.6%), for that category and we think she’s a much more likely choice.
