What’s on at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we downloaded a free compilation of rare, unreleased, and hard-to-find music from Ghostly’s vaults. We wanted to know when Coney Island became a trendy New York neighborhood. We were thrilled by this 8-bit Sonic the Hedgehog office prank at Sega. We thought a few of these logo mashups were pretty cool. We looked at lots and lots of maps. We decided that skinny jeans for babies was possibly worse for society than Botox for teens — just because most babies don’t have the bodies to pull them off. We wondered if the guy who came up with this ad campaign for Sony back in the ’70s is embarrassed by it today. We wanted to drink some vodka with Lil’ Kim and her frozen scared face. We took a peek inside of the mind of a Wall Street jerk. And finally, we ended the day with a good long cry. Watch this montage video of “war veterans reuniting with their children and other loved ones,” and you will too.
