Well, The New York Times has become so disgusted with their own reliance on the word “hipster” that they elected to crack down on it — and made a public spectacle of the decision. But are they the media’s worst abuser of the word? Not by a long shot. Not terribly surprisingly, according to this FameGame infographic, VillageVoice.com has used the term a whopping 60,000 times.
