If you’re a serious music fan, you’ve probably heard your fair share of Guided by Voices records. But here are some Robert Pollard album covers you may not even know about. While GBV’s prolific frontman has created the artwork for many of the band’s releases, he hasn’t stopped there. Pollard has been making Dada-esque collages since high school and is now preparing to exhibit “more than 60 imaginary record sleeves, as well as dreamed-up magazines and coffee table books.” The show, dubbed The Public Hi Fi Ballroom, takes place August 27th and 28th at New York’s 45 Space.
