Daily Dose Pick: Highwater

Son of Bruce Brown, director of the legendary 1966 surf film The Endless Summer, Dana Brown catches some waves of his own in his new documentary, Highwater.

The film chronicles the annual Triple Crown of Surfing competition on Oahu’s North Shore in Hawaii, balancing real-life tales of personal struggle with stunning imagery, while offering a refreshing new perspective on the surfing tradition.
