Pic of the Day: Massive Fish Kill

Apologies for the early afternoon buzz kill, but what you see above isn’t a gravel road. It’s a Louisiana waterway chock full of dead sea life. According to Yahoo! News, while this kind of dead zone is fairly common along the Gulf Coast due to agricultural run-off, “those kills tend to be limited to a single species of fish, rather than the broad sort of die-off involved in this kill.” Just another present from our good friends at BP.
