This month marks the 25th anniversary of She-Ra — Princess Adora’s alter ego and He-Man’s twin sister — and beginning today, She-Ra: Volume 1, Season 1 is out on DVD. For anyone who grew up watching He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in the ’80s, She-Ra and her Sword of Protection were welcome additions to the franchise.
