Today at Flavorpill, we were way down in the dumps after learning about the Union Square Virgin Megastore closing, but then our spirits were lifted by Rachael Ray getting dry humped by Semi Precious Weapons. We were over hearing about Jeremy cry-me-a-river Piven and his fishy ailment. We had hopes to finally remove Norbit and Daddy Daycare from our memory with a true Eddie Murphy comeback as Richard Pryor in a new biopic. We agreed with the hilarious Michael K of the “be very afraid” DListed about Mr. Kanye West’s latest outbursts (in which he claims OJ to be “amazing”), we were kind of disappointed that Mariah Carey’s mustache makeover and Mo’Nique’s apparent Oscar-worthy of a performance in the Sundance winning drama Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire was mysteriously removed from the closing night slot at New York’s New Directors/New Films festival. Lame. We were so looking forward to seeing it.
