What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds In Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we tried to imagine what it would be like if a 1916 plan to fuse Manhattan with Brooklyn via a land bridge had actually worked out. We liked the sound of Downtown From Behind, a new photo blog that showcases rear views of cyclists in lower Manhattan. We wanted Margaret Atwood to draw our Twitter portrait. We chuckled over this list of 10 NYC hotels better fitted for Charlie Sheen to do blow in than The Plaza. We wanted one of Adrian Johnson’s recycled sofas, which are made from vintage refrigerators and salvaged car seats. We were mildly grossed out by the idea of taco pancakes. We were sad to hear that S. Neil Fujita, a noted graphic designer known for his avant-garde album covers and book jackets had died at 89. We enjoyed this short history of mugshots. And finally, we found it impossible to look away from 8 of the orgiest onscreen orgy scenes. How about you?
