Practically the only backlash we’ve heard against the Kindle is grumbling over the fact that you can only read downloaded Amazon.com content on their electronic book reader. But starting today, that’s all about to change.
According to a report from the AP, “if you own an iPhone or iPod Touch, a new application will let you access much of the same content on your Apple device.” Even better news: the program — which lets you change text size, bookmark and make notes/highlights — is free. The best part of all: “If you happen to have a Kindle and an iPhone, Amazon‘s program will handily sync the two so you can keep your place in the same book on both devices.”
Smart move, Bezos. What do you guys think? And for people who are sans Kindle and iPhone, are you sick of reading about both already?
