What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we decided that if you’re a music lover, Yo Gabba Gabba is > than MTV. We looked at 15 portraits of presidents with ham. We wished that Anna “My Girl” Chlumsky would shorten her matronly hemline — Vada Sultenfuss might have been death-obsessed, but she also showed a little leg. We learned that taking aspirin before drinking can actually give you a hangover. We were excited to hear that Electric Literature just launched Electric Publisher — a licensed iPad and iPhone app platform for indie publishers and authors. We discovered the best and the worst places to work if you’re gay. We wanted to invest in some New York City “gutterspace.” We were reminded why we rarely cook at home. We were temporarily blinded by Katy Perry’s peacock dress. We wanted to win one of Hugh Hefner’s Willy Wonka-style golden tickets. And finally, we found out that Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Tilda Swinton are all in talks to appear in Wes Anderson’s next movie, Moon Rise Kingdom. We can’t wait to see it!
