What's on at Flavorpill: The links that made the rounds in our office.

Today at Flavorpill, we virutally visited Tim, a real homeless man living in Houston. We listened and hipsetered out as little boots covered kid cudi. We were blown away by the fact that Chris Brown and Rihanna are reportedly “working on new music.” We were surprised to read that many nonprofits are actually raising their employees’ salaries — we hadn’t heard that from our friends in the np world. We felt bad for filmmaker Ken Burns, but weirded out that GM was funding him in the first place. Is that normal? We geeked out over this library in Mexico City. We were proud of Black Watch for taking home the New Play award at the Oliviers. We checked out Absolut’s new Recognize the Moment site — there’s actually a function that allows you to write a short text message to yourself and schedule a delivery time. If only that had existed back when we were fresh out of college… We wished someone would take us to Taco Town. We couldn’t believe Forever 21 would have the hutzpah to rip off Minor Threat. We decided a trillion dollars looks way less exciting than we thought it would. And finally, this article with Colin Hanks reminded us we want to buy tickets to see 33 Variations. According to our spies it is “lovely”.
