There’s something we find extremely appealing about the sketches of Brooklyn-based artist Jason Sho Green, a former electrical engineering major who is currently pursuing his MFA in painting at New York Academy of Art. “All my art education has come from sketching in the margins of my notes during infinitely boring lectures,” he said back in 2009. “It was all about entertaining myself — I didn’t realize that it would appeal to anybody outside of my parents until two years ago.
