Did you know that it would take 2,826,206,643.42 instances of the word “helvetica” set in unkerned 100 pt Helvetica to get from the Earth to the Moon? As anyone who has seen Gary Hustwit’s 2007 documentary on the popular typeface can attest, this silly fact is just the kind of unabashed fanboy geekery that the font often inspires.
