Whilewe agree with our friends from Nightline that the image above looks like a giant soft-serve ice cream, it’s actually a photo of the Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse taken yesterday on the shores of Lake Erie. Very bizarre looking, no? In case your thoughts gravitate toward the macabre like ours do, you’ll be happy to hear that there’s no ancient lighthouse keeper trapped inside the ice-encased structure with a limited amount of food and supplies. The light has been automated since 1965.
