While we’re big fans of certain *mumblecore filmmakers (The Duplass Brothers, Joe Swanberg, Ry Russo-Young), we’ve always found the genre a little too close to the reality of 20-something life for our taste — which is why we think Jake Szymanski’s parody trailer for The Dirty Garage is aces. Granted everyone looks a little too happy, and we’d actually listen to a song called “Pizza Party in Space.” Bygones. [Via /film]
