Ready to geek out for a moment? Germany-based YouTube user mcwolles has created a perpetual motion machine inspired by the improbable physics of M.C. Escher’s famous Waterfall print, a work in which water appears to be running uphill through an aqueduct. As we’ve always been easily confused by both physics and the work of M.C. Escher, we’ll let you watch the clip and do the explaining on this one. There’s got to be some kind of trickery at work!
