Considering that Joey and the boys were such big fans of American trash culture, we can think of no better tribute to the Ramones than pairing the audio from one of their performances with a seemingly endless string of sci-fi/B-movie trailers. The show dates from January, 1978 and took place at New York’s legendary Palladium (fun/depressing fact: the building is now an NYU dorm, also named Palladium). The band powers through 26 songs in 54 minutes, in typical Ramones style, and the sound quality is fantastic. Godzilla. “Rockaway Beach.” King Kong. “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker.” What’s not to like?
