What do you do when you’re stuck on an airplane for half a day? Get some work done? Devour a good novel? Perhaps pop an Ambien or two and catch up on your sleep? Well, one passenger traveling from San Francisco to Paris decided to use the flight as opportunity to make a stunning time-lapse video. With permission from the kind folks at Air France, he set up a digital SLR and shot the entire journey through his window. What is already an inspired project becomes downright awesome just after the one-minute mark, when the greens and oranges of the Aurora Borealis kick in and the sky transforms into the stuff of sci-fi movies and space travel video games.
