The fashion and opera worlds have a lot in common. Among them: divas, loads of drama, and a tendency toward an over-the-top aesthetic. So it only makes sense that for a recent event benefiting the costume department of the New York City Opera, designers like Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera, and Christian Siriano donated sketches of “fantasy looks” for some of their most beloved characters.
