When photographer Stephanie de Rouge set out to document human urban habitats, she realized that “building walls don’t talk” — fridges do! From NYC to Paris, her diptych series In Your Fridge pops open the door to her subjects’ personalities. A bearded fellow who sleeps on a mat below his kitchen/living room/work table seems to survive purely off liquids. An arty minimalist stocks his fridge with bubbly and photography film.
