And now for something that makes Manhattanhenge look like child’s play: In this amazing three photograph panorama which was snapped by Antti Kemppainen in Perth back in 2007, the early evening sky contains a triple threat: fireworks in celebration of Australia Day, lightning from a nearby thunderstorm, and if you lean forward and squint really hard just to the right of center, Comet McNaught, the brightest of its kind to come our way in decades.
