OK, this is just weird. Remember how we told you last week about Rod Blagojevich trying to worm his way onto NBC’s I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in spite of his current “legal issues”? Well get this: The federal judge said no, but that didn’t stop Blago from heading to LA to film a promo for the upcoming season according to the AP.
“‘Perhaps I can play some other role in the show,’ Blagojevich said, adding he was glad to support the series with promotional spots. He said he wasn’t sure if his contract provided payment for the promo work.”
This is almost as nuts as Roland Burris making his way to Washington even when everyone else was saying his Senate appointment wasn’t legit. And look how that turned out. Oh wait.
OK. Nevermind. We have no point. We look forward to watching Blago’s reality TV debut. May it be just as fantastic as Andrew Dice Clay’s brief but juicy run on Celebrity Apprentice.
