This might be the most exciting grocery-related news that we’ve come across since Fresh Direct launched: Thanks to a new advertising campaign currently running in subway stations in South Korea, commuters can shop the “shelves” of a Tesco billboard using their smartphones, and the goods they purchase will be delivered to their homes within the day. Sure, playing Angry Birds is fun, but this is a much more productive way to spend your time while you wait for the train — and it’s kind of pretty to look at.
