WTF of the Day: Aandeboom's "P-TREE"

Share:

On one hand, we’re completely horrified by the “P-Tree,” a portable, brightly-colored urinal of sorts from the Dutch design studio Aandeboom, which recently made its debut at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival. On the other, we can see how it would dramatically decrease the number of summer music festival-goers in line for the Porta-Potty — which is obviously a great thing. From their website: “The P-TREE is a temporary tree-friendly urinal that can be fixed on every tree using straps and lashings. The P-tree gives a feeling of freedom during peeing. It is the same as peeing into the wild.” What do you think? Can you imagine this becoming a stateside trend as well, or are we too puritanical for such things? Mull it over as you watch the rather silly promotional video after the jump.
