High-Speed Pics Snapped on Japan’s Yurikamome Rail

By positioning herself in the front car on Japan’s New Yurikamome Transit Line, Tokyo-based photographer Appura Pai was able to capture a series of beautiful long-exposure shots of her surroundings that look like something straight out of Tron: Legacy. The fully-automated train — which isn’t even a high-speed rail, mind you — traverses the Rainbow Bridge, connecting the artificial island of Odaiba to the rest of the mainland while giving over 100,000 passengers a day a panoramic view of the city in the process. Click through to take the ride for yourself.
