Hello, there. We’re looking to add a part-time night editor to the Flavorwire roster. The ideal candidate will have a passionate interest in pop culture; the knowledge to write confidently in our core categories (music, TV, film, art, and books); and a knack for finding the best items on the web in the off hours. You should have at least one year of paid blogging experience (freelance, part-time, or full-time), and feel comfortable working in WordPress. Knowledge of best SEO practices and Photoshop experience are both pluses. A strong sense of humor is absolutely essential.

– Flavorwire’s night editor will write a minimum of six posts per evening from 6 to 9pm EST, Monday through Friday. They’ll be a mix of short cultural news items and at least two original features.
– You will promote all content that you post on Flavorpill’s Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook.
– You’ll work closely with Flavorwire’s editorial team to plan out original features and update our shared editorial calendar with your ideas as they are approved.
