Facebook Profile Pictures Transformed into Funny Cartoons

Share:

Cartoonist Adam Ellis is one artist you don’t want to be friends with…on Facebook, that is. In his Never Be My Friend series, the Portland-based doodler draws black-and-white caricatures of his friends’ Facebook photos, allowing the prying eyes of the public to see the good, the bad, and the silly. Along with being a fun collection of art — with exaggerated facial expressions and comical embellishments peppering the cartoons — the series also lends a sort of commentary about our social networking habits and how we choose to portray ourselves, whether it be among friends at a party, hugging our pets, or shyly peaking through our fingers. Get to know Mr. Ellis’ friends after the jump, and see the imaginative drawings he whipped up for them.
