German photographer and multi-media artist Frank Kunert builds incredibly detailed, miniature models that display both a charming tongue-in-cheek surreality and some serious technical skills. He then photographs his meticulously created, wonderfully impossible tiny worlds to bring us these strange little snapshots, which we first caught a peek of over at CollabCubed. If you’re in NYC, you can still catch an in-person look at some of Kunert’s hard-won photographs as part of the Museum of Art and Design’s exhibition Otherworldly: Optical Delusions and Small Realities .
