As fans of the show can attest, there have been no shortage of promotional clips for the second season of Game of Thrones, but the first official trailer — which is narrated by Varys! — features some of the most exciting footage that we’ve seen so far. There’s Jon Snow staring into the Haunted Forest beyond the Wall; Catelyn pointing a dagger at Littlefinger; poor Sansa taking a beating at Joffrey’s sadistic bidding; Rob striding across the battlefield; Arya hiding her true identity by posing as a boy; Daenerys threatening to take her throne back by any means; and of course Tyrion, who claims, “I understand the way this game is played.” After watching this, we cannot wait for the season premiere on April 1st!
