To celebrate its 100th anniversary, L.L. Bean has recreated the original cover of their 1933 catalog, which we think is a pretty cool idea that they’ve managed to realize wonderfully. To pull off the look, the creative team pulled from a mix of contemporary, archival, and “core” pieces, and we have to say that the resultant photograph by Randal Ford approximates the feel of the original artwork pretty well. More iconic covers are set to be released as photographs throughout the year, so stay tuned.
