We’re assuming that most of you won’t be popping over to Qatar in the next few months, but if you are lucky enough to visit Doha, be sure to leave plenty of time to check out Murakami – Ego , the famed artist’s first solo show in the Middle East and the largest collection of his work ever presented to the public. Everyone else can preview just a few of the more than 60 works in this major retrospective that will be on display at Al Riwaq Exhibition Hall through June 24th, courtesy of our friends over at designboom — a crazy collection that includes a gigantic inflatable sculpture of the artist, a circus tent that houses an indoor cinema, and Murakmi’s largest painted work to date, which is over 300 feet long.
