Today at Flavorpill, we completely freaked out over this brilliant X-Men/Peanuts mashup. We were glad to see that Vulture agrees with us on who the biggest asshole on HBO is. (Hint: He’s on Game of Thrones.) We were surprised by the racy pin-up art that you can find on old fruit-crate labels. We were glad that we never had to sit down for a job interview with Thomas Edison. We were excited to hear that Miss Piggy and Kermit will be presenting at the Oscars — it’s not as good as a musical performance from the Muppets, but it’ll have to do. We wanted to dance along with Alison Brie and Danny Pudi on the set of Community. We wondered what Amy Poehler has cooked up with Maya Rudolph for her Saturday Night Live cameo. We were impressed by this cover of the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” by a group of scientists in a lab. We tried and failed to guess which of these Lifetime movie titles were real. And finally, we hoped that this whole repurposed phone booth library thing takes off around NYC. Apparently it’s based on a similar project that did well in the UK.
