Yesterday, Grand Central publishing announced their plans to publish Cee Lo Green’s currently untitled memoir in 2013. The memoir, to be co-written by Rolling Stone reporter David Wild, and featuring insights from “brother from another mother” Big Gipp, will “tell the personal and candid story of how he found his voice as an artist and a showman.”
The five-time Grammy winner himself had this to say: “FORGET YOU? After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be. You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As CeeLo Green, a.k.a. ‘everybody’s brother,’ I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life; YOU discover CRAZY.”
Well then. After reading that, we think this might be just crazy enough to work — the only question now is, what should he call the memoir? Because we know it can’t be F**k You: The Cee Lo Green Story. Or can it? [via Jacket Copy]
