A Selection of Art Inspired by Dr. Seuss

Share:

Friday would have been the legendary Dr. Seuss’ 98th birthday, and the man has (deservedly) been racking up the tributes. Over the weekend, Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA opened Look at This, Look at That: A Tribute to Dr. Seuss featuring over 40 artists paying homage to the great children’s book author and illustrator with 62 works of art. Some are mere artful representations of beloved characters, some are commentary, and some are visual expressions of Seuss’ more abstract ideas, but they’re all fun and give us that pleasant, warm buzz of nostalgia. Click through to see some of our favorites from the exhibition, and then head over to the gallery’s website for even more — or if you’re in the neighborhood, by sure to stop by!
