Wanted: Marc Johns’ Adorable ‘Objects Reading Books’ Prints

Share:

In what delightful alternate universe would a salt shaker be reading Catcher in the Rye or a chair sit hunched over a copy of Jane Austen’s Emma? We have no absolutely no idea, but we want to go to there.

“There’s something very personal about books, so to have inanimate objects reading specific titles seemed like a pretty amusing idea worth exploring,” Marc Johns writes of his most recent series of drawings. Because we found it physically impossible to pick out a favorite, the Canadian artist has graciously allowed us to share them all with you! Click through to check ’em out, and leave your suggestions for future author/object pairings in the comments.
