We discovered a Rube Goldberg-inspired machine that archives old floppy disks. We found out who makes the best bodega sandwiches in New York. We learned some new factoids about 2001: A Space Odyssey . We didn’t necessarily agree with The Telegraph’s list of the ugliest buildings in the world. We watched Lindsay Lohan’s face change over a 25-year span in 60 seconds. And finally, we felt broke learning that the world’s tallest man needs $15,000 shoes. Luckily the Internet didn’t fail him and helped raise the money for a new pair.
