The 38 winners of the 71st annual Peabody Awards were announced this morning, and among those being honored for being “the best in electronic media,” we were thrilled to see a bunch of great new TV shows (Portlandia, Game of Thrones, and Homeland) alongside longtime favorites like Parks and Rec, The Colbert Report, and of course, Jeopardy! The winners pool also includes CNN’s coverage of the Arab Spring, HBO’s gut wrenching documentary about the legacy of genocide in Rwanda, and PBS’ fascinating look into the life of Charles and Ray Eames, The Architect and the Painter.
